SESSION 1.2    Building Your Organisational AI Strategy

The Leadership AI Strategy Framework

STEP 1 — AUDIT: Where does AI create value in my organisation?

  • Identify your top 10 most time-consuming processes

  • Classify each: Automate / Augment / Keep Human

  • Estimate time and cost of each process monthly

STEP 2 — PRIORITISE: What do we tackle first?

  • Score each process: (Time Saved × Cost) ÷ Implementation Effort

  • Start with high-impact, low-effort wins

  • Avoid high-risk areas until governance is in place

STEP 3 — ROADMAP: How do we get from here to there?

  • 30 days: Personal AI toolkit for leadership team

  • 90 days: 3 team workflows automated

  • 180 days: AI governance policy published

  • 12 months: Full AI integration across operations

STEP 4 — GOVERN: How do we stay in control?

  • Define what AI can/cannot decide without human approval

  • Establish data privacy protocols

  • Create review cadence for AI systems
